Tom Holland, the British actor famous for his role as Spider-Man, made a surprise visit to the Campus School at Boston College on November 21. The visit coincided with a $25k donation from The Brothers Trust, a nonprofit led by Holland’s family, to support adaptive equipment and assistive technology for the school, which serves students aged 3-22 with extensive support needs.

During his time at the school, Holland visited all six classrooms, interacted with students, and participated in a music therapy session, showcasing his tambourine and vocal skills. Nonverbal students welcomed Holland using assistive technology, and his caring, down-to-earth demeanor left a lasting impression. “He was fully engaged with our students—they were absolutely the priority,” said Jennifer Miller, the school’s marketing manager.

The funds will go toward essential equipment, including a ceiling lift for physical therapy and other adaptive tools to enhance student learning. Campus School Interim Director Thomas Miller expressed gratitude, saying, “We are so grateful to Tom Holland for taking the time to visit our small special needs school. He fully immersed himself into our students’ activities and their hearts.”
