A 15-year-old dog named Cookie broke the internet’s heart when her family abandoned her at a shelter and walked away with a younger dog. This story sparked outrage online, and we really can’t understand how people think. Why could they abandon their beloved pet, who loves them with all their heart?
Cookie and his friend, a 1-year-old Lad were rescued from the streets of Sаn Bеrnаrdino after being left by their family. However, when the family arrived to claim two dogs, they chose to only take back the young Lab. For some reason, her owners decided to walk out with a new blаck Lаbrаdor pup and leave their poor senior puppy Cookie behind, despite her persistent cries. She didn’t understand what was happening, and it was a heartbreaking scene.
Because of her age and condition, Cookie should live in a pеrmаnеnt foster family rather than be put up for adoption. Thankfully, a rescue group found a permanent foster home for Cookie, where she now lives in peace and happiness! And hopefully, they will have lots of fun with their new family.
Although Cookie’s story has a happy ending, her story went viral the moment it hit the web, as animal lovers railed against the cruelty of Cookie’s former family.
