is a rescue and rehoming centre for dogs and cats; they care for more than 400 dogs and cats each year, providing care for up to 40 dogs and 30 cats at any one time. Some of the dogs in their care have been there for some time, and are more than ready to find their forever home. Could it be yours, or that of someone you know?
Wallace
Where, where, where is Wallace? I’m sure you’ll spot me with these ears, but be careful as I am quick as a flash on these pins so you could easily miss me! A spring is how the staff describe me and I will certainly need an owner who is very active, light on their feet and ready for a good workout!
Any lucky new human will have a very clever and affectionate boy who loves to learn and entertain you! The way to my heart is obviously through my stomach but I do not like to share anything I have found and I am currently learning to ‘drop and swap’. Due to this I am not suitable to live with children. I have made a few new doggy friends whilst here and I could potentially live with the right dog.
I do lack in confidence when meeting new dogs and people so be patient with me. I would enjoy lots of lovely walks but please keep me on the lead as I have a strong chase instinct.
Lulu
‘Luscious Lulu’ here! I am friendly, jolly 1-2 year old Malinois cross rescue with bags of energy and spirit! I am highly intelligent, so I want an owner who would love to teach me new tricks and plenty of play time as well to continue with my training and socialisation with other dogs.
I am a lover of toys, especially squeaky ones and I do enjoy remaking my bed after you have done it so don’t be offended. I’m a great kisser but I am still having guidance on keeping my paws on the floor. It’s all down to excitement and being young, I forget to think before I act sometimes!
I simply adore people. I want to be the only animal in my new home but still continue to meet and greet other dogs when out and about.
I would certainly recommend to keep me on lead when going out for walks. I could live with older children aged 12 years and above. I would like my new owner or family to have plenty of time to spend with me as I currently do not enjoy spending too long on my own.
