Life is so much better with dogs in it. That’s not just a dog lover’s opinion, it’s a scientific fact. Studies conducted at Vanderbuilt Universtiy showed that dogs can decrease levels of human loneliness and can give humans a sense of purpose.

Similar studies by Harvard and Kansas State University also show that spending time with dogs help fight the challenges associated with heart disease and autism. But because of the internet, you don’t have to physically be with a dog to have their mood lifting effects on you.

Just looking at these Snapchat photos can be enough to lift your spirits up until you eventually see your dog, or until you finally get one for yourself.
