Dubai-based animal rescuer Natascha Walker, fromis seeking forever homes for some of the rescue dogs in her care. Could one of them be the perfect fit for you?
The stray and dumped animal situation in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) has reached a crisis point. Over the last five years I have saved over 650 and, with summer approaching and temperates hitting 50 degrees, we need as much help as possible to find furever homes abroad for our rescue dogs.
Alfie
Alfie is a Basenji cross. He is child-friendly, currently in a foster home two children; he is dog-friendly as well, regularly going to daycare. Alfie and his sister Lola were found up tied to an heavy goods vehicle with plastic – they’re blatantly dumped pets. Alfie is a keen swimmer and loves to run, so he would suit an active home. His approximate date of birth is estimated to be Dec 2020; he is neutred, chipped and vaccinated.
Ares
Ares was bought as Eid gift from an animal market; both him and his sister were then surrendered a week later. Ares is child-friendly and good with other dogs. He was born in April 2021, and he is neutered, vaccinated and chipped.
Babr
Babr was previously adopted, only to be discarded when his owners left the country. He’s good with dogs and child-friendly, currently in a home with young twins. He is a little nervous around cars so a home in a quieter location would be preferablefor this very loving little boy. He was born in May 2021, and he is neutered, vaccinated and chipped.
